Cadillac CTS-V Sport Sedan


   In the Year 2009 Cadillac launched its newest product, the Cadillac CTS-V sport sedan is the ultimate expression of performance and luxury of Cadillac. Powered by a supercharged V8 engine horsepower 550, 2009 Cadillac CTS-V sport sedan develops 550 pounds-feet of torque. Machines for sport sedan Cadillac CTS-V is a modified version of the V8 found in the Chevrolet Corvette LS9 ZR1.CTS-V also includes a complete technical and design enhancements over the previous generation CTS-V, including Magnetic Ride Control, an industry-first Performance Management Traction programs and the addition of a new automatic transmission with paddle-shift control. Transmission options for the 2009 CTS-V including both six-speed manual or, exclusive six-speed automatic with steering-wheel paddle shifters mounted. This is the first automatic offered on the CTS-V. "The CTS-V is a full extension, we design technology and performance capabilities," said Jim Taylor, Cadillac general manager. "V-Series takes the award-winning CTS sport sedan and lifted into position in the club car world's most exclusive and capable." 


   Cadillac CTS-V also includes sophisticated braking and tire systems, in partnership with two companies renowned for high-performance technology: Brembo and Michelin. Brembo brakes on all four corners and include powerful, six-piston calipers in front and four-piston calipers in the rear. Michelin worked with Cadillac engineers to develop its recognized Pilot Sport 2 (PS2) summer tire for CTS-V and 19-inch wheels. In the Cadillac CTS-V has created an atmosphere that clearly Recaro sport seats with 14-way adjustable sport, and microfibre materials offer a high level of grip added to the steering wheel, seats and shifter to offer a better driver control.
