Jeep Grand Cherokee

Many - the year of production rarely jeep and after a big divorce that ultimately benefits the Jeep brand from DaimlerChrysler marriage. An all-new Jeep Grand Cherokee debuts for 2011, and now shares the basics by SUVs Mercedes-Benz M-class. With the new performance with a new 3.6 liter replaces the previous 3.7-liter V-6 as a basis. It produces 280 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque (up significantly from the old bumps 210 and 235) and return fuel economy 11 percent better, thanks in part to variable valve timing. Optional 360-hp, 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 back to the park to play, and both engines are paired with five-speed automatic transmission and either rear-or four-wheel drive. And A-Lift Quadra optional air suspension (inherited from Mercedes) to increase the ride height of the Grand Cherokee, improved approach, departure, and breakover angles for off-road credibility even more. No longer constrained by the Commander, Jeep's flagship carrier families have room to grow - and the new Grand Cherokee is 1.8 inches longer, 3 inches wider, and most importantly, rides on a wheelbase 5.3 inches longer. That the last measurement contributes a significant increase in rear seat room, which receives an increase of more than a narrow bench today. Jeep promises more soft-touch plastics and a higher quality interior, and Alpine sound system available.motortrend
