Rinspeed sQuba Concept

Rinspeed sQuba will be presented at the Geneva Motor Show in March next year. The Rinspeed sQuba can drive on the road without the help of the driver. The Rinspeed sQuba can also go amphibious and dive to a depth of up to 10 meters. The Rinspeed sQuba will, most likely, remain a concept car that is unique and one-off.
Rinspeed presents net dive Concept Car "sQuba" - a way to Her Majesty. The world's first diving car with zero emission power real?
Is it just a clever computer animation or maybe more a fiction than Hollywood movies? Or is it really a real car sitting there? Many visitors to the upcoming Geneva Motor Show (March 6 through 16, 2008) will ask themselves just these questions when faced with a new creation Rinspeed sQuba - the world's first real diving car. This astonishing concept vehicle from the renowned Swiss powerhouse for design and new ideas looks almost like coming out of James Bond films. Ability not only to drive on the road - and is also on pressing the button autonomously (thus without the passenger, driver or further assistance) - but also to agitate as an amphibious vehicle and protruding water depths up to 10 meters (33 feet) beyond the scope of many human virtues imagination.
For Rinspeed boss Frank M. Rinderknecht the "sQuba" symbolizes the realization of long cherished dream and fiction films - perhaps the most famous of the James Bond film hit "the spy who loved me". "And exactly thirty years later this amazing - yet at the time animated - film sequence materialize and become reality, in the world today," said Rinderknecht. Clearly part of the material world is the power of the concept car: An electric motor with powerful torque drives the rear wheels. Activator on the water ensured by two propellers in the stern and two powerful jet drives in the bow pushing vehicle under water while diving. With zero emissions, zero pollution in the seven seas of this world. Lightweight body with components made of futuristic Carbon Nano Tubes efficiently wrap the driver and passengers are supplied with fresh breathing air by the on-board system independent.
A new and exciting world is open to residents of the "sQuba" which will remain most likely - as its predecessors - a one-off vehicle unique and exclusive.
