Daihatsu launches its newest product, and launching completely redesigned Daihatsu Tanto. Mini new car comes in two versions namely Daihatsu Daihatsu Tanto and Tanto Custom. Both versions are powered by a 658 cc engine that develops 43 kW at 7200 rpm and torque of 65 Nm at 4,000 rpm. Daihatsu Tanto Custom RS is supported by the same engine that provides 47 kW at 6,000 rpm and torque of 103 Nm at 3000 rpm.
Tanto was created in November 2003 as a vehicle with surprising roominess for the size and one that is fun for the whole family. Tanto has the support of drivers with children for breadth and convenience and pioneered a new genre of mini-vehicles. Sales have been very good, averaging about 8,000 vehicles per month.
